Cafe Wha, New Year's, 2005

Spent a wonderful new year's bash at Cafe Wha, in the West Villag area/ Bleeker- MacDougal intersection. One of the best new year's celebrations I have attended so far - the only place that compares to this is S.O.B's, also in the vicinity.

I had attended the Thanksgiving celebration at Cafe Wha as well, and many of the songs were repeated in the two shows - but then they probably don't expect people to attend both the shows in such a short duration.

The songs were a medley - from Michael Jackson to Queen, rap to Auld Lang Syne, Aerosmith, No Doubt, Beatles .... the entertainment was continuous and captivating. Specially with Sasha singing. Or the owner, with his excellent rendition of "Those were the days".
